Natalie Rae Esparza


Natalie is the daughter of Mario and Eva Esparza of Batesville. Natalie will be attending Texas A&M University at College Station, with a major in Animal Science. She has been awarded the Ed Ritchie, Jr., Memorial Scholarship and Uvalde Aggie Club Scholarship. She is a member of the National Honor Society and has served as class officer. She also has been involved in 4-H, serving as an officer in the Zavala County 4-H Council. She was a participant in a Mock City Council program and has been involved in both the GeoForce and BioForce programs. Natalie was a high school cheerleader and a participant in the TRIO, mariachi and Academic Decathlon programs. She was also a member of the school’s softball, swimming and track teams. She was named to the Texas Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association All-State Academic team. She was a multi-unit donor in the high school blood donor program and has earned a red cord in recognition of her commitment to that endeavor. In addition, she has worked in the community as a volunteer for the Humane Society and joined in the local Relay for Life.
