Clara J. Encinia



Clara J. Encinia is the daughter of Estevan and Brenda Encinia.  She will be pursuing a biochemistry program at UTSA.   

Encinia has been in the spotlight for four years as a member of the cheer squad, serving as head cheerleader during her senior year.  She has also been busy as starting goalkeeper for the Lobos varsity soccer team.  She served as captain of the team during this year’s soccer season.  

Encinia served as vice president of the National Honor Society during her junior year, and president this year.  She’s a part of the GeoForce program and competed for two years in academic UIL in journalism events.  She also has served as chaplain for the Student Council.

She has served as a junior volunteer at Uvalde Memorial Hospital and a teaching aide for her church community.  She is the oldest of five children and the first to head to college.
